Who We Are Looking For

We are currently looking for one full-time 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our operations on a permanent basis out of Kelowna, BC. The 5 Ton Truck Driver will transport and deliver packaged goods with regular delivery routes within Kelowna area.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the driver will start and end each delivery day from the warehouse location in Kelowna and will be required to:

• perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
• load and unload the truck - This is a physical job.
• check all orders being delivered and/or picked up
• efficiently deliver product to customers ensuring the proof of deliveries are appropriately signed
• handle all paperwork including collection of payments, when required
• efficiently complete all driver paperwork according to regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a minimum of one year of experience transporting and delivering goods
• Previous experience using an electric pallet jack
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in an efficient manner without supervision
• Strong initiative and organizational skills
• Must be physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting of at least 40 pounds
• Experience with, or basic understanding of, digital handhelds for shipment tracking
