As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Account Executive to join our team.
About the roleAs Account Executive, New Business for London, ON, you will be responsible for driving net-new customer acquisition and expanding MSP Corp’s presence within your territory. This is a hunter-focused role centered on identifying prospects, building pipeline, and closing new logo business across managed IT services, managed security, cloud, and related technology solutions.
You will own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close. Working closely with pre-sales, marketing, and internal stakeholders, you will create and execute territory plans that convert target accounts into long-term MSP customers.
Location: London, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Work Mode: Hybrid
Additional Working Conditions: Frequent travel to client sites and attendance at local industry and networking events within London, Ontario.
What you’ll do- Build and execute a territory plan focused on acquiring net-new logos
- Generate qualified pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, account-based activity, and marketing follow-up
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Develop strategic account and opportunity plans for target customers within your assigned market
- Engage and build relationships with business and IT decision-makers, including Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders
- Lead customer discovery conversations to identify business challenges, technical needs, and buying priorities
- Work closely with pre-sales, leadership, and internal subject matter experts to position solutions and develop winning proposals
- Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, activity, and forecast data within CRM and other sales tools
- Participate in campaigns, webinars, events, and follow-up activities in partnership with marketing to support pipeline creation
- Represent MSP Corp professionally in the market and build awareness within the regional business community
- Achieve or exceed targets related to pipeline generation, new logo acquisition, and revenue growth
What you will bring- Proven success in a hunter-style B2B sales role, with a strong track record of generating new business through outbound prospecting
- 4+ years of experience selling managed services, managed security, cloud, or related technology solutions to SMB or mid-market customers
- Demonstrated ability to build pipeline, advance opportunities, and consistently close net-new business
- Strong prospecting discipline across cold calling, email outreach, networking, social selling, and follow-up on inbound and marketing-generated leads
- Confidence engaging business and IT stakeholders at the senior leadership level
- Strong discovery, presentation, proposal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly develop sales-level knowledge of new technologies and solution areas
- Highly organized, self-directed, and results-oriented, with strong time and territory management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
