Robert Half is recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager for a long-term contract with a healthcare organization in Toronto, Ontario. The role oversees day-to-day payables operations and supports accurate financial processing and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and processing.
• Coordinate electronic payments, cheque runs, and payment documentation.
• Monitor vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and respond to supplier inquiries.
• Review account coding and financial entries for accuracy and support internal controls and reporting standards.
• Use accounting and expense-management platforms, including Concur, to manage payable workflows.
• Maintain transaction records and support data validation.
• Work with finance and operations teams to resolve processing issues and streamline workflows, including updates involving NetSuite or Concur.
• Prepare accounts payable summaries, reconciliations, and status updates for leadership.

Compensation: $35–$40 per hour.
