Position OverviewKerridge Concrete Ltd. is looking for a highly organized, professional, and dependable Administrative Assistant / Operations Support Coordinator to support senior management and operations.
This role will work closely with the VP of Operations, Safety, and Fleet Manager to help keep the company organized, efficient, and running smoothly day to day. The successful candidate will assist with administrative duties, email and calendar management, safety administration, fleet-related paperwork, and a variety of operational support tasks.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, positive, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and organize emails, schedules, and calendars for senior management
- Assist with administrative tasks related to operations and fleet management
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and internal communications
- Support safety administration including:
- Filing and organizing safety documentation
- Tracking training records and certifications
- Assisting with incident documentation and compliance paperwork
- Preparing safety meeting materials and reports
- Assist with driver and fleet administrative tasks including:
- Service tracking documentation
- Licensing and compliance paperwork
- Fuel, maintenance, and equipment records
- Data entry and reporting
- Help organize employee files and company documentation
- Prepare letters, memos, reports, and professional correspondence
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and general HR administration
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Provide general office and operational support wherever needed
Qualifications- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience in administration, operations support, transportation, construction, or ready-mix concrete is considered an asset
- Experience with scheduling systems, HR platforms, or safety documentation is an asset
