Role OverviewThe Admissions Advisor plays a key role in driving new student enrollments through proactive outreach and consultative selling. This position is ideal for candidates with call center or inside sales experience, especially in the education or training industry. You will act as the first point of contact for prospective students — identifying their needs, presenting program options, and guiding them through the admissions process with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities- Make 50-60 outbound calls daily to prospective students and respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess student goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow a structured “call–text–email” sequence to ensure consistent and professional follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed weekly enrollment targets.
- Accurately update all interactions and lead statuses in the Student Information System (SIS) or CRM.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Admissions teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Maintain compliance with Alberta Advanced Education regulations and institutional policies.
Qualifications- 2+ years of call center, inside sales, or admissions sales experience, experience in a private career college or post-secondary setting is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales or enrollment KPIs.
- Excellent phone communication skills — confident, empathetic, and persuasive.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with CRM/SIS tools and Microsoft Office.
- A genuine passion for helping students achieve their career and education goals.
Performance Expectations- Lead Conversion: Minimum 3 new enrollments per week.
- Lead Management: 50–60 outbound calls daily; respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Admissions Manager & Marketing Team on strategy and reporting.
