Required Skills & Experience- 5–7+ years of experience in IT-focused procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or technology purchasing
- Strong experience managing enterprise software licensing, renewals, and vendor agreements
- Understanding of different software license models and can provide key reporting or feedback for cost savings
- Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems and its licensing include AI, Cloud, etc and other common software programs such as Workday, Salesforce, MATLAB, etc.
- Experience with SaaS procurement, software lifecycle management, and license tracking/optimization
- Familiarity with open-source licensing considerations and compliance requirements
- Strong contract negotiation skills, including pricing, SLAs, renewals, and vendor management
- Ability to conduct cost analysis, ROI assessments, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with IT, finance, engineering, HR, and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

You will act as the IT procurement professional to take ownership of the company's software and technology procurement strategy. In this role, you would act as a key partner to business and technical leaders across the organization, helping drive smart technology investments that balance cost optimization, operational efficiency, security, and long-term business value.
You would be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of software and IT procurement activities — from assessing business needs and evaluating vendors, to negotiating enterprise agreements, managing renewals, and overseeing software licensing compliance. The role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions while working closely with teams across IT, engineering, finance, HR, and operations.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial acumen with technical understanding. You would work with modern cloud and SaaS environments, enterprise licensing models, hardware procurement, and vendor management initiatives while helping streamline processes and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
