Shift: 5:00 PM to 12:30 AM on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays,
2:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Wednesdays, with a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends.
Report to the Night Shift Supervisor/Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Pick orders as requested by procedures
- Pack incoming stock( including Produce) away, take inventory, and report shortages
- Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Unload containers, confirm the accuracy of orders, and sign pick tickets to confirm.
- Ensure correct shipping information is attached and move completed orders to the shipping area.
- Place items on pallets and secure them with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping, using packaging materials properly and hand tools as needed.
- Identify and dispose of defective items.
- Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.
- Ensure that the prepared packages are delivered to their designated locations
- Complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other safety regulations.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized.
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use a Walkie/Ryder, Counterbalance is preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Positive Attitude
- Ability to work in a cooler
- Understanding of food products is an asset
- Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends
- Attention to detail
