About the role
Bell is seeking an AI and Automation Developer to turn business requirements into technical solutions. The role focuses on data pipelines, automation, custom AI agents, and real-time analytics applications.
Responsibilities
- Explore and interpret data to answer business questions and support data-informed decisions.
- Work with stakeholders and business primes to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Design, prototype, and develop scalable data pipelines, automation solutions, custom AI agents, and real-time analytics applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals, database design knowledge, API integration experience, and complex SQL skills.
- Practical experience with Python, Java, or similar languages, plus Git.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks such as LangChain.
- Preferred: experience with Kafka, Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, real-time data pipelines, batch ETL, BI tools, or dashboards.
Position details
Full-time, regular position. Hybrid work in Toronto, Ontario; employees must be based in Canada and work from a Bell office at least three days per week. Application deadline: October 16, 2026.
