Scotiabank is hiring an AI Business Analyst for its Global Wealth Management AI Product Team in Toronto, Ontario (Requisition ID: 267475). The role supports delivery and adoption of AI-powered solutions for advisors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements; translate epics into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Connect business stakeholders with technical teams and communicate requirements clearly.
• Analyze and model business processes to identify inefficiencies and AI-enabled improvements.
• Document AI workflows, including inputs and outputs, model-supported decisions, evaluation criteria, and human-review steps.
• Support backlog grooming and agile ceremonies.
• Partner with product, design, engineering, QA, and risk teams to ensure solutions are specified, testable, and governed.

Qualifications

• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in digital business analysis or a comparable business-analysis role.
• Experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech is preferred; experience supporting enterprise AI, data/model-driven, digital automation, or advanced analytics initiatives is strongly preferred.
• Experience documenting business processes, working in agile models, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong financial services experience and proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working through ambiguity.
