Position Overview:

Bretoba Contracting is seeking experienced Red Seal Journeymen and Lead Hands across all trades to join our growing team. The successful candidate will take ownership of their trade from rough-in to finish, oversee apprentices, and contribute to estimating through quantities and material take-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality trade work in your area of expertise
• Lead small teams and coordinate daily site activities
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
• Plan, coordinate, and complete material take-offs and order lists
• Maintain high-quality workmanship standards and precision
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades
• Ensure compliance with all codes, safety, and quality standards

Key Qualifications:

• Red Seal certification (required).
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with residential and light commercial projects.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Accurate, client focus, dependable
• Effective interpersonal skills, flexible, reliable, and hardworking.

Wage range: $30 - $38 / hour, depending on experience and skill level
