Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the AP function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, adherence to policy, and coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the company’s ERP transformation initiatives. This role will also lead and support the management of our rebates program.
Key Responsibilities- Review and validate processed invoices and payments for accuracy and compliance.
- Approve payment variances under $100, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Maintain and update the approved vendor list; verify new and modified banking information.
- Collaborate with the ERP implementation team to align AP workflows with NetSuite capabilities.
- Support periodic vendor performance reviews using scorecard-based evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Act as a liaison between AP clerks, branch controllers, and corporate finance leadership.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors and resolving payment discrepancies.
- Contribute to reporting and analytics related to AP metrics and vendor spend.
Qualifications- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles.
- Strong understanding of AP policies, vendor management, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Experience with invoice processing, payment approvals, and financial controls.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Preferred Attributes- Experience in a multi-branch or multi-entity organization.
- Familiarity with integration projects and change management.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
