Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our service team. This mid-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a foundation for a career as a skilled mechanic. The role involves assisting senior technicians with various repair tasks, learning industry-standard practices, and developing technical skills in a professional environment dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support repairs and assembly processes
• Support the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components following technical specifications
• Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and working with mechanical parts
• Read and interpret schematics to aid in troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs promptly while ensuring high-quality standards

Requirements

• Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background is preferred but not required
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients when needed
• Basic understanding of schematics and technical manuals for vehicle repair
• Willingness to learn new skills through hands-on training and mentorship
• Prior mechanic experience or related technical training is preferred

Pay: $16.94-$21.94 per hour
