Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Preparation Worker to join our team in delivering high-quality meals and excellent food service. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Duties

• Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Perform food handling tasks including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Cook and assemble meals with attention to presentation and quality
• Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to meet food safety regulations
• Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and service
• Support the team in meal planning and inventory management as needed
• Ensure all food preparation areas adhere to health and safety guidelines

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
• Experience in the food industry or related fields such as catering or institutional kitchens is advantageous
• Knowledge of meal preparation processes and serving procedures is beneficial
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
