SummaryReporting to the Automation Production & Service Manager, the Automation Production & Service Supervisor oversees daily production and service operations for automation projects. This role leads manufacturing and service personnel, ensures project schedules and quality standards are met, manages inventory and resources, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The Supervisor provides both managerial leadership and hands‑on technical support as required.
The Automation Production & Service Supervisor will provide oversight for two facilities and will be required to travel to and from both: Waterdown, Ontario and Mississauga, Ontario.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProduction & Project Execution- Oversee production activities to ensure quality, safety, schedule adherence, and compliance with technical standards.
- Track and report labor hours, production output, productivity, and waste.
- Manage equipment, tools, materials, and production floor inventory.
- Coordinate CSA inspections for control panels and equipment upgrades.
- Lead production meetings, address backorders, and resolve equipment or scheduling issues.
- Support packing, shipping, troubleshooting, and in‑house or onsite commissioning as needed.
- Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting or installation support when required.
