Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns
• Explain repair and maintenance services clearly, providing recommendations based on mechanical knowledge
• Write detailed repair orders, accurately documenting customer concerns and requested services
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
• Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer’s vehicle health while maintaining integrity
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently and accurately
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and sales activities
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships

Skills

• Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Sales aptitude with experience in upselling services or products effectively
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Previous experience with mechanic or technical roles is a plus, providing deeper insight into vehicle repairs
