Duties- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.
Skills- Proficient in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience using both hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety standards in the workplace.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex automotive issues.
- Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred but not mandatory.
