Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and industrial equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to conduct repairs efficiently.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
• Repair or replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot issues accurately.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other machinery as needed.
• Ensure all repairs adhere to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle or machine serviced.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering client questions professionally.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems and industrial equipment.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, welding, HVAC systems, and schematics reading preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, or industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, maintenance procedures, and assembly processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Relevant certifications or training in welding, electrical work, or heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
