OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support our operational needs. Duties- Operate various equipment and trucks/trailers.
- Load, unload, and organize freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Help on various construction sites with our crews.
- Support the transportation of goods using commercial driving skills when required
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Document equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational logs accurately
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively and meet project deadlines

Qualifications- Proven experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean record. (must be insurable)
- Knowledge of freight handling, automotive repair, or related technical skills is a plus
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs on equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation or automotive repair is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- General construction experience an asset.
