• Transport materials and loads between site locations.
• Complete daily equipment and vehicle checklists, inspect truck equipment, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Maintain truck log, according to MTO regulations.
• Assist mechanic with preventative maintenance of vehicles, keep trucks clean and in good condition.
• Maintain valid Ontario AZ or DZ driver’s license and insurable abstract.
• Generate daily truck rental sheets for Company invoicing.
• Promote a safe working environment by participating in tailgate/safety meetings; identification of hazards; and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Able to work Monday through Friday 7:00 am-5:30 pm, with ability to work until 6:30 pm if needed

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years driving experience is required
• Construction experience preferred
• Valid A or D Class Driver’s license, Air Brake Endorsement (Z)
• Clean abstract and CVOR
• Driver record check and license validity check
• Secondary (high school) certificate or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
