OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events at our premier venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a team, ensuring food safety standards, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Prior hotel or restaurant management experience, along with familiarity with food preparation.
Duties- Lead and supervise banquet staff to ensure smooth service delivery during events
- Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and customize menus accordingly
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards
- Manage all aspects of food service including serving, bar operations, and kitchen coordination
- Supervise food industry operations
- Oversee setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Interview and train new staff members to maintain high service standards
- Manage restaurant or hotel banquet operations efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in all food handling activities
- Collaborate with event planners to ensure client satisfaction and successful event execution
Requirements- Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or food service roles with supervising responsibilities
- Background in food safety protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with team management experience in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hotel or restaurant management is preferred; hospitality background highly valued
- Skills in interviewing staff, supervising team members, and maintaining high standards of service excellence
- Familiarity with barista experience or bar operations is a plus but not required
