About the role
Jim Pattison Collision & Glass is hiring a full-time, permanent Production Coordinator for its collision centre in Winnipeg. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The position reports to the Collision Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate repair priorities and maintain an organized production schedule.
- Monitor vehicle progress and help keep repairs moving efficiently through the shop.
- Communicate updates and identify or address delays.
- Coordinate with technicians, estimators, parts, management, customers, and insurance partners.
- Help ensure the team has the information and resources needed to complete repairs safely and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive collision repair experience or a strong understanding of the collision repair process.
- Knowledge of the Manitoba Public Insurance claims and repair process is an asset.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate competing priorities in a fast-paced collision centre.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset but not required.
