On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Payments for a permanent role. This position is a remote position, ideally based in Toronto, Ontario, with occasional on-site requirements in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Payments, you will be a crucial link between business stakeholders and technology teams, focusing on payments systems. The role involves translating complex business needs into actionable system requirements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. Your efforts will support the design and delivery of technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Payments - Responsibilities:

• Translating complex business requirements into well-defined technical and functional specifications.
• Improving operational efficiency by analyzing and optimizing business processes.
• Reducing delivery and execution risk by ensuring requirements are complete and traceable.
• Accelerating value realization by supporting the timely delivery of technology solutions.
• Strengthening cross-functional collaboration between business stakeholders, product teams, and technology delivery teams.
• Supporting sustainable change through documentation, testing support, and knowledge transfer.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Payments - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with Visa Debit, MasterCard Debit, FX Wire, MuleSoft API, and Temenos.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business systems analysis or related field.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Customer-centric and results-oriented approach.

Business Systems Analyst (BSA) - Payments – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Financial Services or Financial Technologies industries focusing on Payments & Compliance Technology.
• PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) designation or similar.
• Experience with field mapping for MuleSoft APIs and multi-system integrations.
• Demonstrated experience implementing a Visa Debit or comparable debit card product.
• End-to-end systems thinking, understanding upstream and downstream impacts.
