A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a CA Gen Programmer/Programmer Analyst

Position type: Full Time, Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Fredericton, NB

This is a Hybrid Role

As a CA Gen Programmer/Programmer Analyst you will:

Job Description

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• The work will comprise a mixture of steady state and project-based efforts including, but not limited to, system operation, user support, third party software upgrades, fixing errors in the systems, adding new features, and reprogramming sections of the systems for efficiency or security.
• The work and services required of the contractor shall be to serve as a Programmer/Programmer Analyst for the client.
• The resource will report to the Manager, Provincial Health Application Services, who will provide leadership and supervision regarding overall duties and work assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Application programming and analysis experience
• Resource must be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated experience with CA Gen version 8.5 or higher

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with Java / C++ and Struts Framework.
• Demonstrated experience with service management processes and tools (e.g. incident, change request, release management).
• Demonstrated experience with SSRS.
• Demonstrated experience in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Demonstrated experience with Databases such as Oracle, and SQL server.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2019 or above.
• Experience with public sector health care applications and/or systems support in any Canadian provincial context.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $45-$5-per hour
