Habitat ReStore is a chain of non-profit home improvement retail stores with 8 locations across the Greater Toronto Area, owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity GTA. We sell home furnishings, appliances, and other renovation materials at a fraction of the price. Our items are donated from businesses and individuals and undergo inspection and testing to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.

What You Will Do- Represent Habitat for Humanity GTA as a Brand Ambassador by modeling our values and guiding principles
- Learn, understand and participate in the Health and Safety Program
- Upload new products to the website, including titles, descriptions, photos, pricing, tags, and categories.
- Ensure all product information is correct, consistent, and optimized for SEO and customer clarity.
- Monitor stock levels and update product availability, pricing changes, and discontinued items.
- Organize products into collections, featured categories, and promotional pages for seasonal campaigns.
- Review product pages regularly for errors, inconsistencies, or outdated content.
- Work with marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and email features.
- Coordinate with operations/warehouse for product status and updates.
- Support retail teams with product info and promotions.
- Assist with customer inquiries to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
- Using proper lifting techniques and tools.
- Maintain a clean and professional image
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Treat donated items with care and respect, recognizing their value to the donor and Habitat for Humanity.
- Receive, store, and organize materials in the warehouse.
- Prepare orders for delivery or internal use, including staging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) where certified.
- Report any equipment, or product damage immediately to supervisor
- Assist with cleaning, pricing items for online catalogue
- Any additional duties as required
Skills and Qualifications- One year or More experience in Retail
- Must be Fluent in English
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
