Carpenter – Reliable, Skilled, and Eager to Learn

We’re looking for a Carpenter / Commercial Repair Specialist who is comfortable with a variety of tasks — from framing, trim work, drywall, and finish carpentry to general building repairs and preventative maintenance. You’ll handle small to mid-size repair projects in commercial settings, working closely with our experienced team and trusted trades.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow their carpentry skills while building broad experience in facility maintenance and commercial repairs.

Duties and Jobs

• Assist with rough and finish carpentry tasks: framing walls, installing doors/windows, baseboards, cabinetry, drywall repairs.
• Complete routine building maintenance and facility repairs for commercial properties.
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, or handyman repairs as needed.
• Support unit turnovers and restoration work.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
• Load/unload materials and handle with care to avoid damage.
• Work from work orders and supervisor instructions; complete tasks independently or with a crew.
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of carpentry, general construction, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of multiple trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and team members.
• Must have basic hand tools and a phone.
• Basic computer/technical skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and doing physically demanding work daily.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude.
• IICRC Certification is an asset and may be required later.
• Ability to work a limited rotation of after hours and "on call" shifts

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
