Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer experiences, managing transactions efficiently, and promoting our products and services. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
• Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support when necessary
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure product availability
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick checkout processes
• Keep the checkout area organized and clean to promote a positive shopping environment
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide excellent customer service
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and product presentation techniques
• Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features effectively
• Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
