The Sandy Steps Child Care Centre is a government licensed Child Care Centre. We are seeking a passionate and dependable Part-Time Cook to join our team. The cook will prepare nutritious meals and snacks as outlined by the Canada's Food Guide and the menu requirements of the Saskatchewan Childcare Licensee Manual for the children in the Centre.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks as outlined by the Canada's Food Guide and the menu requirements of the Saskatchewan Childcare Licensee Manual
• Prepare food to accommodate food allergies or intolerance's, when applicable
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas. Ensure a safe and healthy environment
• Ensure all Public Health procedures are being followed
• Work as part of a team
• To follow the Centre's operational policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Food Safe Certificate Certificate in Cooking from a recognized college is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check

Pay:

$15.53-$23.53 per hour
