OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing team. This role involves safely transporting heavy equipment and heavy construction equipment and supplies to our sites threw out Alberta, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to excellent service.
Responsibilities- Safely operate multiple types of trailers to transport equipment and supplies to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit
Skills- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of heavy construction procedures and safety standards
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
