Position Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating dump trucks to transport aggregates, soil, and construction materials to and from job sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate Class 1 dump trucks (including truck & pup, and/or trailer configurations)
- Transport materials such as gravel, sand, soil, and debris
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Follow all WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members
- Assist with basic truck maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Requirements:- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (BC) with a clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2+ years of dump truck driving experience preferred
- Experience with truck & pup and/or end dump trailers considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Lower Mainland routes and job sites
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends
