We have an immediate opening for a local Class 1 or 3 Delivery Driver to join our Cranbrook team for our regional delivery routes in the East Kootenay's. We are looking for an energetic team player who takes pride in their equipment and their job to join us!
This position is based on a 40 hour work week (plus overtime when required).
We offer newer fleet maintained equipment and designated trucks along with above average pay and a great benefits program including RRSP match available after 3 months.
Preference given towards drivers with 2 years verifiable experience and a clean abstract is required. Mountain driving experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities and Skills- Operate a Class 1 or 3 delivery vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and CVSE regulations while driving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Skills- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience with commercial driving is preferred, including knowledge of traffic and CVSE laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
- Physical stamina for moving heavy items and performing manual labor tasks as required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and delivery documentation.
- Must be reliable and punctual and have a strong work ethic.
- Maintain a positive, helpful and friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times.
