Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our millwork manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure precision and efficiency in machining operations. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with Fanuc controls, and expertise in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks and other blueprint reading skills. The CNC Programmer will play a critical role in producing high-quality components using Biesse rover router , supporting our commitment to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Duties- Develop and write CNC programs for Biesse rover K CNC router
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate machining instructions.
- Utilize CAD software Bsolid
- Set up machines, including calibration with calipers and other hand tools, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are used.
- Perform machine operations, monitor tool paths, and troubleshoot issues during production runs to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes through lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, power tools, forklift operation, and assembly tasks.
- Assist with machine maintenance, tool changes, and basic repairs as needed.
Experience- Cabinetry / millwork experience is a must.
- Proven experience in CNC programming.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling, and equipment setup.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software Bsolid
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for manufacturing specifications.
- Basic math skills including measurements, tolerances, and calculations necessary for machining precision parts.
- Hands-on experience with CNC router.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, forklift operation, and assembly processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to support efficient production workflows.
