Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC machine programs to produce high-quality components efficiently. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Duties- Develop and write CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications using CAD/CAM software.
- Set up CNC machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and raw materials, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
- Test and validate CNC programs through simulation before implementation on production equipment.
- Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming or machine operation promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, modifications, and operational procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve manufacturing processes and achieve efficiency goals.
Skills- Proven experience in CNC programming with proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials used in manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly.
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing precise and high-quality parts.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members across departments.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with multi-axis machining centers, familiarity with automation systems, or additional certifications in manufacturing technology.
