About the role

Kinaxis is hiring a co-op/intern Business Analyst for its IT Application Excellence team in Ottawa. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the Ottawa office. The full-time placement is 8 or 12 months, with an expected January 2027 start.

Compensation: $19.46–$28.55 per hour. The final offer depends on skills, year of education, and experience.

What you’ll do

• Work with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Support enterprise applications, including Salesforce, and triage or resolve incidents, service requests, enhancements, and user inquiries.
• Assist with requirements gathering, process analysis, impact assessments, testing, and solution validation.
• Help configure, test, and deploy low-code solutions and automation initiatives.
• Maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, user guides, and training materials.
• Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve business processes.

What you’ll bring

• Current enrolment in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Engineering, or a related program. Recent or upcoming graduates may also be eligible if within 12 months of the placement end date.
• Interest in business systems, enterprise applications, software delivery, and technology-enabled business transformation.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar low-code/no-code platforms, Agile methods, testing, or the software development lifecycle is an asset.
