OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to an individual who lives independently. Duties- Assist clients with daily activities general housekeeping.
- Support with schedules and personal appointments.
- Maintain open communication with family.
- Support with meal preparation and planning.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to care plans established by healthcare professionals
Skills- Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, caregiving, and working with people with disabilities
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic skills in meal preparation and medication administration are advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends may be required
