POSITION OVERVIEWWe are currently hiring Community Support Workers to provide structured support in home and community settings.
This role is best suited for individuals who are reliable, organized, and able to follow a clear plan of care while supporting clients with consistency and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Support clients in home and community environments.
- Follow structured care plans and routines.
- Assist with life skills, daily routines, and community participation
- Maintain professional boundaries and consistent support.
- Document services accurately and on time (CareSmartz360)
- Communicate effectively with the care team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)Applicants must have:
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (recent)
- Valid First Aid & CPR + AED
- Relevant experience or education (HCA, Community Support Worker, or equivalent)
- Experience working with children or youth (FSCD)
- Applied Behaviour Understanding
- TB test valid within 1 year
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- ABA / Behaviour Intervention
- PBS (Positive Behaviour Support)
- CPI/NVCI (Crisis Intervention Training)
- Reliable transportation
PREFERRED (STRONG ASSETS)- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
- Behavioural support experience
- Experience with structured routines and goal-based support
- Medication assistance training
