Essential Functions

• Hardware Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware malfunctions to ensure continuous IT operations and minimize downtime.
• Proactive Maintenance: Execute regular maintenance schedules for IT assets in collaboration with third-party service providers.
• Procurement & Advisory: Research, request quotations, and provide expert recommendations for the acquisition of IT hardware, software, and services.
• Technical Support: Provide Training, guidance and technical assistance to faculty and students regarding the optimal use and care of computer equipment and software.
• Systems Administration: Manage administrative functions for core platforms, including Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365, and MDM solutions.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of physical hardware inventory and service logs.
• Safety & Organization: Comply with all safety regulations while maintaining clean, organized, and professional workspaces.

Other Functions

• Cross-Functional Support: Assist staff members in streamlining workflows and completing technology-dependent tasks.
• Digital Presence: Manage social media and website updates, including content planning, profile management, and front-end design enhancements.
• Data Systems & Integrity: Ensure system backups are current and maintain rigorous organizational security standards.
• Educational Integration: Partner with Education Consultants to implement and support classroom technology initiatives.
• Security & Privacy: Provide strategic recommendations for IT security and privacy; facilitate the implementation of security enhancements.
• General Duty: Perform additional work-related duties as assigned by school leadership.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency

• Device Management: Proven experience servicing Windows, iOS, and macOS devices; experience with ChromeOS/Chromebooks is a strong asset.
• Software Suites: High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (experience with Google Workspace for Education is preferred).
• Web Development: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an asset.
• Content Management: Experience managing WordPress sites and business social media accounts (X/Twitter, Instagram).

Infrastructure & Security

• Cybersecurity: Strong working knowledge of computer and network security best practices to maintain system health.
• Hardware Support: Practical experience troubleshooting and maintaining printer hardware.

Core Competencies

• Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and service record-keeping.
• Proactive mindset regarding system security and data privacy.
