Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Construction Inspector - Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. This position is for a newly created position.
We are looking to hire 5 individuals for this role. These positions will support various aviation-related projects, including:
- Existing terminal revitalization;
- Airfield Electrical Works;
- Airfield Civil Works;
- Interim Infrastructure;
- GHG and Priority initiatives.

You may also discuss this further with the team during the interview process. Note that the number of positions may change based on program requirements.
Major Requirements:- Oversees construction activities to verify general compliance with Contract Documents and ensures the contractor takes appropriate measures to meet quality standards.
- Prepares daily reports and regularly updates the Construction Manager on progress and issues..
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of project staff.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
- HS + 4 years of relevant experience in project or construction management or relevant profession.
- Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:- Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
- Typically has at least 7 years of professional experience as a construction inspector or in a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience on large, complex projects, with at least 3 years of on-site involvement.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of reporting protocols and is experienced in preparing management-level reports.
- Able to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and site personnel.
Additional InformationThis position requires working on-site at client office, five days per week.
