Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site operations to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position offers an opportunity to lead diverse residential and commercial construction initiatives and contribute to the development of high-quality projects across the GTA.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Connecteam, or similar platforms for planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Prepare and review construction estimates and budgets; monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials, rentals, and equipment
- Supervise site personnel, assign tasks, and monitor work quality and safety compliance
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards
- Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, timesheets, invoices, and daily logs
- Assist with payroll coordination, material purchasing, and contractor communication when required
- Implement project management best practices for efficient resource allocation and time management
Qualifications- Proven experience in construction management or as a site supervisor with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar systems
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control methods
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining safety standards on-site
- Familiarity with concrete, drywall, demolition, renovations, and general contracting operations is preferred
- Valid Ontario driver’s license is considered an asset
- English is required
- Spanish is considered a strong asset
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are a plus
Compensation & Schedule- Full-time position
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Salary: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour depending on experience
