Position SummaryThe Construction Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth for Center Rock products within the assigned territory. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, supporting product applications in the field, and representing the company throughout the construction drilling industry.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth for Center Rock products within the assigned territory in Western Canada.
- Develop new customers and distribution/selling partners while maintaining existing relationships
- Provide exceptional account management and customer support to distribution partners and key accounts
- Assist with new product development and support field testing and product improvement initiatives
- Represent Center Rock at construction industry trade shows and events
- Provide market feedback and industry intelligence to management in written and verbal formats
- Demonstrate flexibility in responsibilities as business needs evolve
Knowledge RequirementsProduct Knowledge- Strong understanding of the field application of the complete CRI product line for Canister drills, hammers and bits.
- Sales of Hutte drilling rigs
- Sales of our hammers and bits for the blast hole, mining & quarry clients
Operational Knowledge- Knowledge of the operating functions of CRI hammers and bits.
- Ability to understand product applications and provide after-sale support
Industry Knowledge- Understanding of the construction drilling industry and its various market segments
- Ability to effectively sell and service products within the industry
Technical Knowledge- Familiarity with the drilling experience, mining experience, construction sales experience and air compressors used to power CRI tooling
Required Skills- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for customer communication, quotes, and correspondence
- Excellent active listening and interpersonal communication abilities
- Strong persuasion and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to jobsite safety and compliance with customer and CRI safety programs
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to develop practical, creative solutions
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
Education and Experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience serving construction industry customers
- Working knowledge of current technologies and products used in the construction drilling industry, including the CRI product portfolio
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay: $140,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
