We’re looking for a strong people-leader to fill our Consulting Team Lead position, to guide a team of Consultants and Analysts and translate strategy into consistent, high-quality day-to-day client delivery.
Reporting directly to the Director of Consulting Services, you will be a hands-on people leader who supports development and performance while building the processes that keep work moving smoothly. You’ll manage team workflow and priorities, coordinate across internal stakeholders, and lead the timely resolution of client and internal escalations, ultimately ensuring every engagement reflects a consistent, high-quality consulting experience.

What You’ll Do- Translate the Director’s strategy and priorities into clear day-to-day plans, processes, and follow-through
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Consultants and Analysts - setting expectations, coaching performance, and building a strong team culture
- Own team workflow: prioritize and assign work, track deliverables, and remove blockers to keep commitments on time
- Build team capability and independence by strengthening problem-solving, decision-making, and knowledge sharing
- Manage client and internal escalations - driving timely, appropriate resolution and clear communication
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and implementing practical enhancements to tools, templates, and workflows
- Monitor service quality and consistency across engagements, supporting risk management and compliance follow-through
- Maintain a small client portfolio to stay close to the client experience and model best practices
What You Bring- Demonstrated people‑leadership experience, with a focus on coaching, accountability, and team development
- Experience in Group Benefits and/or Group Retirement (5+ years) to provide context and oversight for a consulting team
- Confidence managing priorities, making decisions, and guiding teams through complex or time‑sensitive situations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to give clear direction and constructive feedback
- Comfort navigating escalations and supporting resolution with sound judgement
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to delegate effectively and manage competing demands
- Life License (LLQP)
- CEBS (completed or in progress)
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience working with CRM or workflow tools

Salary range: $90,000-$110,000
