Duties:- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:- Your own transportation is required, no public transportation available
- Red seal certification
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and kitchen procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Skills:- Proficient in cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, etc.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Ability to prepare ingredients, measure quantities accurately, and follow recipes
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Willingness to assist other team members as needed
- Adherence to food safety regulations and best practices
