Reporting to Cook 1 or Cook 2, you will communicate the needs for supplies and equipment required for preparation of meals. You will also be in charge of preparing meals, washing dishes, practicing food safety continuously, and other duties as required.
High School Diploma. Nutrition courses are an asset. Food Safetly Certificate or equivalent for Alberta employees. You must have previous experience cooking multiple dietary meals and a demonstrated ability to cook for large crowds. Experience working with the elderly is preferred. You are able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing so others can easily interpret and understand it fully.
Requirements:- A current and clear Criminal Records Check Form and if applicable a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.
- A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
