About Us:Festival Fun Foods/Festival Café is a family-run business that started by serving festivals across Ontario with multiple food trucks. Over the years, we've grown and now proudly operate a permanent location in Hamilton and are opening another location soon! At Festival Fun Foods, we bring a family-style approach to everything we do, serving high-quality funnel cakes and fun fair foods year-round. We believe food brings people together, and we're commited to creating great experiences through fresh ingredients, strong teamwork, and a fun, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items using fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food prep and kitchen organization
- Load/unload supplies for food truck events as needed
- Work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Requirements:- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 50 Ibs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (especially in food trucks)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable access to a vehicle (required for travel to festival locations or meeting locations)
- Availability to work weekends, including long weekends and festival events
- Reliable, punctual, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
