Sal’s Barrhead is a locally owned, fast-growing restaurant known for generous portions, great value, and friendly service. As we continue expanding our menu and service offerings, we are looking for a dependable and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team.
The Cook plays a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality meals while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in food preparation, works well under pressure, and thrives as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet company expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Qualifications- Previous cooking or kitchen experience required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
