Job description:
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to management
Requirements:- Previous experience in food service or a related role preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food safety certification is a plus

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent
- Driving Licence (required)
Ability to commute/relocate:- Tsuut'ina, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
