Sharpen is a hands-on learning space where people come to develop practical skills in a fun and welcoming environment. We offer workshops designed for beginners who want to learn, create, and gain confidence.
The Role:We are looking for a passionate and experienced culinary professional to lead and develop our cooking and baking workshops.
This is a full-time, in-person position where you will:
- Lead 5 to 6 cooking workshops per week
- Support the growth and organization of our culinary program
- You’ll play a key role in creating engaging, hands-on experiences for participants while helping us expand our workshop offerings.
Responsibilities:- Lead engaging cooking and baking workshops for beginner participants
- Teach recipes and techniques step-by-step in a clear and approachable way
- Prepare all ingredients, materials, and equipment before each workshop
- Manage ingredient orders and kitchen inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Welcome participants and create a fun, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere
- Contribute to the development of new workshop concepts and recipes
What We’re Looking For:- Strong experience in cooking and/or baking/pastry
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups
- Enjoys working with beginners
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Professional culinary experience is preferred, but passion and enthusiasm matter just as much.
