Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Finance & Valuation Intern to join our M&A and advisory team. This role offers hands-on exposure to business valuation, financial modeling, transaction support, and strategic analysis. The internship is designed for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in investment banking, corporate finance, and deal execution.
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in M&A and valuation, solid analytical capabilities, and a desire to develop technical and professional expertise in a fast-paced, deal-oriented environment. This is a paid internship focused on both learning and meaningful contribution to live engagements and internal initiatives.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis
- Support valuation engagements by gathering data, normalizing financials, and conducting industry and company research
- Participate in M&A transaction support, including due diligence, data room organization, and buyer/seller analysis
- Analyze historical financial statements and assist with forecasting and budgeting exercises
- Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to support client deliverables and business development efforts
- Prepare client presentations, pitch decks, and confidential investment memoranda
- Assist in risk assessment and financial analysis to identify key drivers of business performance
- Support internal initiatives including data management, reporting, and process improvement
Skills- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and valuation fundamentals
- Familiarity with financial modeling and Excel-based analysis
- Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into clear, structured outputs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
