Job Summary:Airdrie based employer looking to hire a staff member who can work both in the warehouse as well as fill in as a cube truck driver. Ideal applicant would have a Class 5 License, with experience driving a 16 foot cube van in order to complete collection route doing clothing pick-ups.
Forklift experience is an asset. Warehouse duties include unloading trucks by hand, loading outbound containers, and driving 16 foot cube truck . Please note this is a physically demanding job, so applicants need to be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and stand all day. Agile super hero's need only apply!
Other duties include recycling, garbage disposable and general housekeeping duties. Basic computer skills for barcoding outbound material bundles.
Applicants must be self motivated and able to manage their time and complete tasks without supervision.
Patience in dealing with poorly packaged donations is a must. Good communications skills and ability to work cooperatively within a diverse work force, either independently or in a team. Must have good character/attitude and be able to follow instructions and work in an efficient, reliable and honest manner. Hours of work for truck routes are daytime hours and truck offloading hours would be either evening or early morning. Both part-time and full-time options are available depending upon cercumstances. Flexibility in days and shifts is required. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO AIRDRIE RESIDENTS.
