Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools
- Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis
- Implement and maintain security controls and policies
- Perform threat intelligence analysis and reporting
- Support compliance audits (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure systems and networks
- Document incidents, findings, and remediation steps
Most In-Demand Skills- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)
- Incident response & threat detection
- Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
