BBYMT is growing and looking for a dedicated Dance Teacher to join our team. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about building strong performers through a focus on technical foundations.
Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching performing arts to students aged 4–7.
- Strong technical foundation in jazz, tap and acro
- Experience teaching and choreographing for students in the 8–18 age range
- Ability to follow and execute a pre-determined curriculum while managing classroom dynamics effectively.
- Ability to choreograph engaging, age-appropriate routines for beginner to advanced groups that emphasize clean technique and stage presence.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Technical Certification: ADAPT Certification (preferred) or equivalent high-level technical dance training.
What You’ll Do- Deliver weekly classes focused on technical foundations and conditioning.
- Choreograph and polish performance pieces for our End-of-Term Performances, ensuring students feel confident and prepared.
- Provide straightforward, constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and execution.
- Prepare lesson plans and material for the duration of the season.
